Loved the 131 stairs to the front door - great workout! Kids will be entertained at the petting area with farm animals. Surfing hub, beautiful beaches, and fantastic restaurants nearby.
Just adored climbing up all those stairs every day, said no one ever. So much fun!

The property offered a fun jungle gym and playground for the kids to run around and climb on. The supervised play area kept them entertained while we enjoyed watching the boats coming into the harbor with the catch of the day. The location was perfect for kite surfing enthusiasts and we even had the opportunity to try paddle boarding in the ocean, which was a fantastic workout for our cores. The inclusion of an awesome tidal pool also ensured that our kids had a safe and enjoyable swimming experience.
For dads, it would be great if there were more comfortable seating options near the play area.

The location is beautiful and nice, close to Gordon's Bay mountains, the train station and the nearest supermarket, you cannot beat it. The staff is extremely helpful as well as hotel's owner. The rooms are well decorated and spotless with fantastic views, terrace and a bathroom.

The room at Bluebottle Guesthouse was absolutely amazing! The best part was the private balcony that opened up to let in the fresh mountain air and sunshine. We loved waking up to spectacular sunrises and even enjoyed moonrises in the evenings. The en-suite bathroom with a shower also had stunning sea views, which made it even more special. As a young family, we couldn't have asked for a better room to relax and enjoy our vacation.
One small downside was that the room could also be used as part of a suite with the room next to it, called Fynbos Blue. Personally, we preferred having our own private space, but we understand that others might enjoy the option of having a larger suite.

The location was beautiful, for example, a surf beach was at a medium distance from the hotel. The room we had included central heating and a writing desk.

We appreciated exceptionally comfortable and absolutely stunning rooms and excellent food.
Location: the hotel was really close to Gordon's Bay mountains. Popped in The Striped Horse for shots before sleep, it was within walking distance of the venue. The room was large, and we had a good view of mountain.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse tucked away against the mountain and just off Boys Drive, and I had a fantastic experience. The rooms were spacious with amazing views, and the beds were really comfortable. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, and I particularly loved the terrace overlooking the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and I couldn't find any major issues.

I keep returning to my favorite place in Muizenberg. The staff is amazing, helping me with room issues even at night. It has all I need with Wi-Fi, parking, massage, beach access, and fun activities. See you again for Easter! Love it!

Large glass sliding doors open out onto the upper deck from which you can enjoy spectacular sunrises in the mornings and moonrises in the evenings. It's like having front-row seats to nature's theater.
Parking is in the road.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning! We also loved the daily cleaning service and the delicious breakfast included in the package. The location was perfect, just a short drive from the beach and close to many restaurants in the area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
The room was a bit outdated and could use some renovations, particularly with regards to the carpets and sockets. The steep stairs leading up to the room were also a challenge, especially when carrying luggage.

This hotel is a great choice for those who want a comfortable and clean place to stay near the Muizenberg hills and beach, perfect for surfing. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. I loved the location and the amazing views from the balcony.
Nothing it was perfect.

Great stay, wonderful breakfast, and very clean throughout. the key location made sightseeing a great experience with lovely views of the mountain. Enjoyed the homey environment that made it easy to unwind after a long day of exploring.
There were too many steps for us to climb and we were not aware of this from the start. the parking situation was misleading as it was not on the premises.

We stayed at a guesthouse near the beach and hills, perfect for surfing and hiking. The room had a view of the bay and was clean. Breakfast was sufficient but not exceptional, with limited options. Facilities included a communal kitchen and a balcony.
The noise from a nearby animal disturbed our sleep.
